Read MoreI was tasked with painting a Morris Oxford Series III. Gorgeous car! I was asked to set it somewhere in Marlborough, so I picked Penzance Bay because of its nice stony beach.
Read MoreThis is the cover art for my new Five Nights at Freddy's fanfiction, The Butterfly Effect. It took two attempts and a week of painting on and off to complete, but the result is so, so worth it. Painting bokeh by hand is an experiment I didn't expect to work, but it did!
Read MoreThis painting is a small, quick one that I made to experiment with coloured light sources. It's messy, but I'm pleased with how that stark red came out. Follow the step by step below to see how I did it! I listed the pigment numbers on all of the paints I used to help you find the closest match in your own brand.
Read MoreA little Christmas gift I painted for a friend. I find it a lot of fun to take something that would normally be frightening and turn it into something cute (or vice versa!)
Read MoreThis is a Christmas gift I painted of a friend's cartoon succubus character. She was a lot of fun to paint! Sometimes it's nice to experiment with a different style.
Read MoreI completed this painting as a raffle prize on Tumblr! It was fun to try out painting a human character again and I got to test some new techniques.
Read MoreIt's not every day I'm commissioned to draw the iconic and horrifying springlock scene from Five Nights at Freddy's 3. And, well, let's say I took that task and ran with it. These types of commissions are my favourite because I get to cut loose and have a bit of grisly fun!
Read MoreI was commissioned to draw this fan design of a Nightmare version of Springtrap from Five Nights at Freddy's. It's drawn in graphite, white pencil and ink on grey-toned card. Overall a very fun piece to work on!
Colourfield card, smoke, 270gsm
Faber-Castell 9000 2H, HB, 4B, 6B
Mechanical pencil, HB 0.5mm lead
Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil, white
Five Star India ink, white
Just in time for Halloween, here's a free colouring sheet of Jack O Bonnie from Five Nights at Freddy's!
Read MoreI was commissioned to paint this piece as a wedding anniversary gift for a close friend. The request? To represent the happily married couple's travels around the world in bird form! It's just a shame that 'Birds of South Africa and New Zealand Plus One Robin' was too long a title!
Birds featured, from top-left clockwise: brown-headed parrot, African fish eagle, New Zealand fantail (piwakawaka), tui, New Zealand falcon (karearea), European robin.
Read MoreHere's a fairly simple one for those who don't want to colour in lots of tiny details. As always, remember to read the terms of use before you download. I'd love to see what you do with this! Just tag me on Twitter or Tumblr or send me a message!
Read MoreToy Chica is one of the animatronic characters from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. She's not often drawn as the friendly children's character she's meant to be, nor with her beak, so I thought I'd try something a little different with this piece. I think it's a bit of a victim of overworking and muddy colours. I guess it goes to show that everyone makes mistakes sometimes!
Read MoreThe third entry in the Five Night's at Freddy's series released on Steam on the 2nd of March, 2015. I painted this to celebrate the game's second anniversary! It took two days, about ten hours in total, roughly. I have to say that I really enjoy painting dark, dramatic lighting like this, though it can be difficult to pull off in watercolour, and had a lot of fun with this one.
I can't believe it's been two years already! Time's flown, and what a ride it's been! Thank you Scott for this game series through which I've met so many friends, which inspired me to finally start putting my art out there and start writing a story I can stick with. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the series from now on, as well as any other games you make. Thank you!
This watercolour painting is a paid commission of Thunderbirds 1 and 2, from the classic sixties TV show about a family using futuristic machines to rescue people in peril! Working with the lighting and colours on this one was a lot of fun. I enjoy painting dawn scenes.
Read MoreThis painting was a Christmas gift for my mother, so though I finished it a few days ago I had to wait until now to post it to avoid spoiling the surprise! This horse, Spud (Touch of Frost is his official name,) is retiring from shows at the end of this season and I thought I’d do something special and paint him.
Read MoreA completed watercolour commission of a Eurasian blue tit! I was really happy to be commissioned to paint one of these, as they’re very common British garden birds and I have fond childhood memories of seeing them hanging around the feeders. They're agile little clowns!
Read MoreAll up I think about 50 hours of work went into this, spread out over a month. It's been one long, painstaking effort but absolutely worth it in the end! All I need to do now is squish this under some heavy books for a day or so, seal it with UV blocking clearcoat and ship it off to Canada.
Read MoreThis is actually the second time I've made a Millennium Ring; I never took good photos of the first before giving it to its new owner. It's made from air dry clay and measures roughly eleven inches from the bottom of the lowest point to the top of the upper ring. I love the finish on the Vallejo liquid gold paint but it's alcohol-based and horrible to work with. I'd say the result is worth the hassle, though! It's very shiny in person.
